Floating-Network License! Unlimited number of unique users Limited number of unique concurrent users Provided license file placed on a network server hard drive No manual entering of license codes anywhere No hardware involved / immediate activation possible Compatible with Citrix server systems
Magic-Password License! (For companies with more than 500 employees) License count is 2% of total employee count (per MSN Money or D&B Database) Unlimited number of unique users and unique computers Fully unrestricted and unmonitored use Provided license file must be present on computer for SES use Fully network and hardware independent…use anywhere/anytime & without a 'dongle' Maximum ease of corporate software deployment No manual entering of license codes anywhere
The license search order is Machine-Specific, Magic-Password, Flash-Drive, and finally Floating-Network. Each license option is analyzed in succession until a valid license is discovered, so as to maximize the benefits of all possible licensing scenarios that may exist with your company. For example, a super-user that works at work and works at home and or works at the rig with SES will likely need the very portable Flash-Drive license, while a manager needing to occasionally check the current cross-sections of all of their active wells may be best suited using a Floating-Network license. In any event, the Flash-Drive license user for example will not consume a Floating-Network license seat. Recall, SES can operate and make the same data available in a simultaneous multi-user network environment!

SES 4 PURCHASE PRICE - Basic Feature Option The purchase price is $5,500 per license with a $550 annual maintenance fee. There are no technical geosteering or steering guidance features in this version of SES.
SES 2.1 PURCHASE PRICE The SES 2.1 purchase price is $3,500 per license and no maintenance fee. SES 2.1 is a very basic and dated version of SES that includes surveying, well planning, and THD calcs. There are no technical geosteering or steering guidance features in this version of SES.
