June 2010  Texas American Resources Company purchased additional SES 4 licenses. Stoner Engineering LLC attended the SPE Geosteering Technology Forum in Colorado Springs, CO, 27 June - 2 July. SES training series videos hit a milestone with publication of entire demonstration well (70 minutes total of online training now available).
May 2010 Energy Corporation of America purchased additional SES licenses.
April 2010 Ergon Exploration, Inc. purchased SES 4.

November 2009 Seneca Resources Corporation purchased SES 4. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. (Dallas Division) purchased formal SES training. EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. (Denver Division) purchased SES 4. Dr. Stoner presented a technical geosteering lecture to graduate students at Colorado School of Mines.
October 2009 St. Mary Land & Exploration Company (now, SM Energy Company) purchased additional SES licenses. Revised SES users manual was published. SES 4 was made easily compliant with Windows Vista (32-bit/64-bit).

September 2009 EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. (Dallas Division) purchased additional SES licenses. SES version 4 became available for download and the migration from SES 3.x began. SES 4 includes extreme (e.g., color/min/max/log/constants/multi-track/track-placement/track-size/track-content) multi-LWD-curve user control in ParamTuner and Cross-Sections, and all of the most popular requests over the past year like super-fast loading for ultra-long wells and grid data interpolation in Cross-Sections.

December 2008 With Chinese interpretation help from Create Energy Technology Ltd., five personnel from Liaohe Oilfield Logging Company (China) were trained in Calgary to use all features of SES 3.x.

August 2008 AKG Energy purchased SES 3.x. Revised SES Users Manual released, including 'Tips' summaries at the end of each screen summary containing best of the best information from years of providing technical support. 
July 2008 Range Resources Corporation purchased SES 3.x. Liaohe Oilfield Logging Company (China) purchased SES 3.x. All embedded graphics in SES 3.x were reprogrammed with a superior graphics object to provide enhanced speed and mouse/user interactivity. Even more embedded graphics were added, each with zoom/scroll capability and a variety of need-specific features. SES 3.5 became available for download.
March 2008 First multi-division corporate license agreement was executed with EOG Resources, Inc. for SES use at four different divisions in the USA and Canada. Revised SES Users Manual released. EOG Resources, Inc. purchased formal SES training.
February 2008 Black Hills E&P purchased SES 3.x.
January 2008 Extreme licensing flexibility became available in SES 3.x (machine-specific, floating-network, flash-drive, and magic-password).
December 11, 2007 "Technical Geosteering" was presented at SPE's Computer Applications Study Group meeting in Denver, Colorado.

August 2006 SES version 3.0 beta testing commenced.

January 2006 Programming development of SES version 3.0 began; to integrate geosteering with THD and inaugural commercial availability of the FDD controller for real-time steering guidance.

Patent 6,101,444 filed August 21st, 1998. Abstract: "A numerical control unit and method is provided for determining a change in a positional setting in a downhole tool used to drill a wellbore, the numerical control unit comprising a plurality of rules in an IF...THEN format based on the current position of the wellbore and a preferred position of the wellbore."
